"All dressed up!"

What an amazing night we had! Recently, I was chosen to represent Mama's team at our SUCCESS rally! I was featured on a runway event. It was a lot of fun getting my hair and makeup professionally done as well as having clothes chose for me. We had a great time and it was an honor!
I even think Jeovany had a great time!!
Here's Mama and I having a blast together later in the evening at her "12 days of Christmas" table! If you didn't already know the many many reasons WHY I totally LOVE my j.o.b......check out those diamonds mama is wearing!!! We both just earned these this past week!!! BLING BLING!!
Annie and I ! What a blast we had!

Have a wonderful rest of the week! Make every moment count....and don't forget to bless as many others along the way as you can!!!

Dinner at Skies!

What an honor it was at to attend this VERY special dinner with some VERY special people! We had the opportunity to have dinner out with one of our Extraordinary woman from our Corporate office, Mrs. Donna Schuster! We spent the day with her at VIP Training and then a select few of us earned an evening out with her to the exclusive Skies Revolving Restaurant atop the Hyatt Regency Hotel! It was an incredible evening filled with amazing learning tools, successful business tips, unmatched company, unbelievable views and great food. I do not think I have ever eaten at a classier location an certainly not with better people! Here are a few pictures of our evening....

Left to Right:Fish and Annie Kleoppel (my Sr. Director and best friend), Daryl and Hilary Rider, Mrs. Donna Schuster. Sarah Roos, Jeovany and Kimberly Marimon, and Jennifer (my director and mama) and Jim Price!!!

Preschool and Bedtime struggles....

Hello everyone! Well, school has started! (I guess it started a month ago really and I am just a little behind on this post!) Jazmyn is back at the same WONDERFUL preschool where she went last year. She goes 3 days a week for 2 and a half hours each day. She absolutely LOVED it last year but has had some trouble getting into the swing of things this year. She has cried everyday that I have taken her UNTIL YESTERDAY!!!! YAY!!!!!!
It was breaking my heart when she didn't want to go or when she didn't want me to leave. However, then her teacher and I decided we felt like it was more of an attention thing, (seeing as once I leave she ABSOLUTELY loves being there), so we sort of brushed it off. Monday I just (as hard as it was) totally ignored her emotional meltdown and pryed her off of me....and well yesterday she jumped in line and went to her room with her class. I think its been a combination of : having mommy all to herself all summer with no daycare kids, still clingy from mommy's surgery, and new classmates (that are all just turning 4 and are all TINY!).
Tomorrow is her snack day which means she will be the leader all day, gets to bring the snack for everyone, and also gets to share some family pictures! She is VERY excited for tomorrow so hopefully this will be the beginning of another GREAT year!
I was very proud of Jazmyn. The first day of school they had to bring their fish filled in with their favorite things...she was the only one in all of the 4 year old class to hand write hers by herself! You can click on the picture below to enlarge it, she is standing next to her fishy! She did such a great job!!!
Here are her responses:
My favorite color is: "Pink"
I like to eat: "Rice Krispies"
I like to play: "Babies"
My favorite story is: "Spongebob" (thanks to daddy!)
I feel happy when: "Mommy and Daddy give me snuggles."
At preschool, I want to: "Learn"
Spending time with DADDY....probably watching Spongebob! AARRRGGGHHHH!!!
There has been a never ending struggle in our house...its called bedtime. I have never allowed Jazmyn to sleep in our bed, but we haven't been the most structured about bed. (I think I need Brandon and Lezlie to come help us! I am so proud of well you have done with MAYA!!) Jazmyn usually ends up sleeping all night in the living room, in the recliner or on the couch. Occasionally after she falls asleep we move her to her bed, but it seems like when she is in her bed she ends up crowding us out of OUR bed by 3 or 4 in the morning.

I usually still sit, read a book or two and rock her to sleep. Ever since my brain surgery I have had a much later bedtime for myself since I am no longer babysitting. I find myself looking at the clock at 11:00 pm and saying, "OH MY goodness, I've got to get Jazzy to bed!" Am I horrible to have my 5 year old up that late?!?!? We both enjoy sleeping in, but next year is school at 8 am!Hmmmm....HELP!!! She doesn't like to sleep in her bed at all, and I've never made her go to bed on her own. I'm sure she can....but hmmmm...how long will it take me to get her into that routine!!????
Here she is just crashing out on the couch. It was only around 10 pm, actually early for us. Poor baby! Look at that sweet little face!

Here she is sitting at the table (with her kitty, Coconut) playing on her learning laptop around 10 pm again....Hohumm.....what to do....... Poor little thing! She really has never liked to sleep, even as a baby. I need some pointers on how to get her to successfully go in to her room, read a story and say her prayers with mommy, then actually stay there without ME...and simply go to sleep. That would be so nice!! But I want her to enjoy it too and not scream and cry for me. Please help us!!!! LOL!!!!
Have a great week everyone!! I can't wait to hear YOUR brilliant ideas!!!! Who wants to move in with me for a while and get our bedtime struggles conquered!! LOL!!!

Making Fair Memories...

I have so many fond memories of my little hometown fair! It was always one of the most enjoyable times of year! We have the absolute best fair around! It is so great to go and see everyone, catch up on what friends have done over the year and see how their kids have grown! It is a huge reunion weekend!!!! I had a great time getting to visit with everyone!!!!

I hope my kids had just as much fun as I always did as a kid riding rides! Jonathan was with us for the weekend and him and Jazzy rode rides all day Saturday! They had a blast together!

Here are a few snapshots from our day!

Jazmyn loved getting to see all of the floats!

Riding rides with friends!

Jazzy wasn't so sure about the "octopus" but she got on with 'Bubby' and held on for dear life!

However, she absolutely LOVED the BIG swings!!!!! She rode them over and over and over~!

Jonathan's first ride on the BULLET...he was not real excited...but we convinced him he would be fine! I told him that I rode this same ride for years and years and that it was fun and safe....his response was, "well then its a really old ride, what if a bolt falls out or something?" Thanks baby, make me feel old! He rode the entire ride with his eyes shut...but the second time he rode with his eyes opened......the third time he even turned loose of the big bar!!!! LOL!!

Walter turns 3 months old!

Is this not the sweetest baby you have ever seen! Okay, so maybe he's looking a little "rough" in THIS particular picture....lol...but how sweet is that face!?!
My brothers first child, Walter, is now 3 months and 5 days old! He is growing quite fast! He certainly is eating well! Chad says that he is about the biggest Vietnamese baby anyone there has ever seen! I guess he has some of that foreigner blood in him!!!!! LOL!!!
He is a pretty happy baby though I am told that he thinks he has to be held and walked all the time. Of course, I don't think his mommy ever just lets him cry! He is spoiled by all the family around him!
But how could you not spoil that sweet little guy!
Here he is with his mama, Linh. This will give you a good sense of scale as to just HOW big he is! He is an armful at 3 months!! I don't think anyone can argue that he is definitely going to outgrow his mama!
I just wanna kiss those cheeks!!!! He is planning on being "home" to visit all of us for Thanksgiving and or Christmas! I can't wait!
Everyone enjoy the "worlds fair" this coming weekend!!! I hope to see you there!!!

~CELEBRATION~

Everything here in the Marimon house hold is great. We are gearing up for the big "worlds fair" this coming week! For all of you from my home town you all know the importance of the WORLDS FAIR!!! EVERYONE comes HOME during the fair and is such a great time to catch up with friends on their past year.
Our past few weeks has been filled with Dr. Appts! Jazmyn has had continuous ear infections since her 2nd set of tubes fell out in May. She has been on 5 (I think) different antibotics since the end May. Poor thing, if her ears don't hurt her poor little belly does from all the meds! We went to our Children's Hosp this past week and we have her 3rd set of tubes going in torwards the end of Oct. It was a little longer than I wanted her to have to wait, but I am glad to at least have a date on the books! We will keep you updated.
I am doing great. Went to the Neursurgeon this past month also. Everything looked wonderful. My only problem has been a slight allergic reaction to the diuretic I am on to decrease the spinal fluid. I was given the option of going ahead with a 2nd surgery for a shunt or continuing my meds with some zyrtec also on board. At this point we are doing the meds and still working on losing more wieght. Weight loss will help reduce the excess fluid as well. I feel great as long as I am taking my meds. As soon as I stop, even for a day or two then the headaches return.
The following pictures of our Beauticontrol team as well as some from our recent trip to DALLAS for our National CELEBRATION. I absolutely LOVE my JOB and expecially love getting to travel to DALLAS a couple times a year!
This is at Annie's house with the Mustang that she and the team earned this past year. It is qute a ride!!!! Some of might get the chance to see it some this coming weekend if you are home for the fair!!

Below: This is Lynda Alexander...she lives in a town of 432 people called Cooter, MO. She just earned her Lexus with the company and has promoted to the National level after just 8 years in the business. This was on our last day as we were packing our cars to head home...she was driving her brand new Lexus home that she was presented with in front of 4,000 of us!
We had a fabulous time. This year was extra special because Theresa has joined our team and we were all able to Celebrate together!!Yes, we are always the wild bunch up on our chairs!! We bring the excitement with us that is for sure!!!! These glow tubes were given to everyone to break open and glow together......but we had the brilliant idea to string all of ours together and truley be ONE team!!!! It was a great moment!
This is our "National" team on stage the final day with an amazing woman in Beauticontrol. Mrs. Barbara Ward is in the dark suit with the short dark hair to my right. She is a 4 Million Dollar Acheiver...meaning her COMMISSIONS have reached that milestone marker. Another great moment!!!
Okay, so the whole weekend was filled with great moments!! Here I am receiving my $100 Mentoring Bonus on stage.
Below: What a great escort we had!! Thanks Fish!!!
Left t Right: Me, Annie Kleoppel (our Sr. Director), Fish (Annie's husband), Judy Byrum (Annie's Direct upline), and Margaret (a teammate)!! MORE MONEY!!!!
Our UPCOMING DIRECTORS!!! WOOHOO!!!!! We are so proud of you all!!! What a great team we have!!

Theresa and I on awards night! This is about the only time (once per year) that I get this dressed up...lol!!! Although I'm getting quite good at buying matching jewelry for every outfit..:)
Mama and Papa!!! Mom promoted up as a New Unit Director May 1st, 2009....here she is with her recognition!! BC Directors are among the TOP 2% of the COMPANY!!! This is an awesome achievement!!!!! Watch out!!!!....Mustang here we come!!!!!!
This is Albert Bosch, our President. He is a wonderful leader and has a heart full of passion!!
Left to Right : My sister Theresa, ME, Albert and Mama
Strutting her stuff!!!!! Here is Annie, our Sr. Director and my best friend! She was asked to model in a runway exstravaganza that they had one evening! She did a great job and had fun doing it, and she got to KEEP the dress!!!!
Okay, so we had lots and lots of fun....but we tend to not go to sleep while we are there. We stay up till the wee hours of the morning and then we get up bright and early so we don't miss out on anything...and well....it tends to take a toll on all of us by the last night! Here is Annie, waiting on our dinner to arrive catching a quick nap!!ZZZzzzzzzzz!!!!
I can't wait till next year!!!!
I hope everyone has a happy and safe Labor day weekend! I hope to see many of you at our local fair! God Bless!!!!!

Bible school campout!!!

It has been a great summer!!! One of the kids' best memories has been once again BIBLE SCHOOL CAMP OUT!!!! Every year they camp out for 3 days at my mom and dad's church. They have so much fun being together....and even love being in the tents! Here are a few snapshots of their weekend together!
Faith, Jazmyn, Hope, Anna, Destiny, Ellie and Jonathan
I will say we have the absolute BEST slippin' slide there ever was!!! Our hand made tarp and hay bales is wonderful!!!! Even the grown ups love it!!!

This year there was a special treat....horse back rides for all!!!! My girls really enjoyed this!!!!
Here are Anna and Ellie

...and Jazmyn wanted to stay on the horse allllll day!!!!! She is quite the animal lover....not sure who she got that from...lol!!!

More pictures at Grandma's in our bible school shirts!!! They are growing up so fast!

...and of course Jazzy has her baby in her arms!
I will post another fun one in the next week or so. Things here are going great! I am completely healed up from surgery. The drs have been trying to wean me off of my medicine that I happen to be allergic somewhat to. It is the diuretic that helps eliminate so much spinal fluid. However, my headaches come back instantly when I wean down any at all. I guess for the time being we are going to continue the meds along with my Binderyl/Zyrtec to compensate for the itching allergic reaction...fun fun! I have the option of a shunt but I am trying to avoid it at least for the time being. I feel great though!!!!
Jazmyn started back to preschool this week. She was a little teary eyed the first day,but she has been battling double ear infections for 2 months now. We are going to be having our 3rd tubes surgery sometime in Sept I would imagine. She is excited to be going to school again. She goes 3 days a week for just 2 and a half hours each day. I will post more in the near future about her upcoming surgery as well as how school is going.....
For now, it is BEDTIME!!!!!! Love you all!
