Almost May...

I can't believe it is almost MAY! Here are a few snapshots off of my phone (as my computer has crashed recently and I am using Jeovany's laptop.) We have had a very busy Spring. I will have more time to update a blog after May 1st comes and goes.

Jazmyn will be going to Kindergarten this coming August. We had K enrollment and she seems pretty excited about school. Some days she is a little apprehensive, but I honestly think that is only because she can sense my lack of excitement that my BABY is going to KINDERGARTEN and I don't get to go with her everyday. I am trying to stay positive and more importantly ONLY let her see how "excited" I am for her! =( I will certainly miss her though! She is growing up so fast!

Here are a few pieces of her recent artwork. She tells me she wants to be a designer!........
Our most recent skating trip with all the kids! They had a blast and were wore out!

Be back next month......hopefully!

Time FLIES!

What a year this has been already! I can not believe it is already MARCH! For those of you who have been asking me for an update....I am sorry that I have not updated my blog for 2 months, but HERE it is!

Our family has had a busy couple of months. After spending as much time as was possible over the Holidays with Chad and his family, it seem we have played catch up ever since. It was worth every second of it though! I am sure that Walter has changed so much since his visit here. Crawling and soon to be walking...then running. Time sure does fly, and we sure do miss them.

Mom and I have been busy "working" our spa business. I say working, but it is just so much fun that it barely seem like work. I love my j.o.b. We are currently in some very important stages in our business. Mom is in month 5 of her Mustang Leadership Program which means in less than 2 months (55 days actually) we will earn our very first 2011 Ford Mustang! Free and clear, no strings attached, title and keys in hand! I am in month 5 of my Director In Qualification period. This means less than 2 months and I promote as a Director. We have worked hard for these milestones and can't wait to celebrate them with our phenomenal team!

A year ago, this month, I was undergoing brain surgery. Some days it seems like years ago, and then other days I can hardly believe it's already been a year. I am happy to say, I feel wonderful. I seldom have headaches. I have only had one episode of the pressure headache, but I was also battling pneumonia at the time. My hair is still growing in from surgery, it's about 5 inches long or so. During the time of my worst symptoms I started needing to wear glasses to better my vision. I, however, never wore them because they gave me more headaches. About a month ago, I was presribed contacts and I am LOVING being able to see clearly!
Jeovany has been working about an hour and half from home M-Th. He stays with a friend close to where he is working to cut down on spending so much money on gas. I don't like having him away, but we are adjusting and LOVE seeing him on Thursday nights, and all weekend long! Jazmyn is doing well. She is loving preschool again this year. She made friends very quickly with a boy named Boston and they seemed inseparable the first half of the year. Now, there is a new girl with whom she spends most of her time. I can't believe just 5 more short months and my BABY will be going to Kindergarten! Once again, TIME FLIES! She is anxiously excited to go to K, however, I am just anxious. I am not sure how it will be not seeing her alllll day long. Pray for us come AUGUST!
We had some family portraits taken in Jan. Many of you have seen them on facebook, but here are a few of my favorites again. I hope each and every one of you are doing wonderful! We would love to hear from you.

All I want for Christmas is my FRONT TOOTH!

About 2 weeks ago Jazmyn had a loose tooth. We had just gone to church and were in the car on the way home and Jazzy told me, "mommy my tooth really hurts, I think I need to go to the Dentist." So I told her when we got home I would take a look at it. Well she didn't need a Dentist...she just had an extremely loose tooth and it was loose all of a sudden! She wiggled it ALL day long but insisted that I could NOT pull it. About half way through the day her tooth was sticking straight out the front of her mouth and finally she turned to me and said, "Mommy, just pull it now!" I took one slight tug and it was OUT! She was sooo excited....Jumping up and down and skipping all the way to the bathroom where all of a sudden I hear a VERY LOUD Screeching SCREAM........AAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! I of course ran to her as quickly as I could only to figure out that the mere sight of blood was terrifying her. Let me remind you...she skipped rather joyfully to the bathroom only moments before....so I knew she wasn't hurting. It took a second but I was able to console her and convince her that what she was seeing was normal and it was supposed to happen like that....lol! After a few minutes she was ready to call EVERYONE to tell them that she was so grown up now because she had lost a tooth! She had a solid week of SMILING as big as possible so everyone could see her treasured smile!!!! Waat a sweetheart~!

Later that night, Jazmyn wrote the tooth fairy a note (in her very own words) and we left the tooth and note under her pillow for the night. I was hoping that this would help with the whole..."not coming to mommy and daddy's bed at 3 am" thing...but....I guess she decided the tooth fairy would find her tooth no matter where she was sleeping! Here are a few pictures, you can enlarge them to see up close! She was quite proud of this day as she should be!!!! I can't believe my baby is growing up so fast!
My little princess!!!!
She woke up to a very shiny glitter filled bed, glitter in her hair and on her pillow, her tooth (so mommy could keep the first one of course)....and a special glitter filled note. Do other mom's keep their kids' teeth...hmmm.....or am I a little obsessive and cant' turn loose of my baby.....?
O well...... :)
We hope each and everyone of you have a fabulous Christmas with those you love. We are looking forward to Chad, Linh, Thu, and WALTER being home soon. Their original flight plans changed as they got to the airport in Hanoi last week only to have Walter's access denied. Hopefully all is fixed and we see them in about 36 hours! I can't wait to snuggle with Walter! He is such a cute little guy!
Merry Christmas With Love,

Walter will be here in 4 DAYS!!!!!

Sorry I haven't updated this blog in a month...busy time of year for us all! I just wanted to write real quick tonight to share exciting news.

It is finally happening! My sweet little nephew (well...not too little anymore) will be "home" in 4 short days! He is now 6 months old and weighing in at just over 23 pounds!!! He is a whopper! He is so extremely handsome too. I have to say he is the cutest little boy I have ever seen!!!!! Chad, his wife Linh, her mom Thu, and Walter will be arriving in the country this coming Tuesday night! I can't wait to get my arms around this sweet little guy! Here are some recent pictures of him.

Hanging out with daddy with College Basketball! Teaching him early! Too precious!

This is such a sweet picture.

The Staredown!
Everything here at our house is good. We are anxiously awaiting our soon arriving company! Jaz's preschool is going great. She gets out next week for Christmas break. We plan to spend as much time as possible with Chad and the family. We have to soak up every minute we possibly can with Walter...he may be 5 years old before we see him again! :(
Mom and I just got back from Nashville from Director Summit with Beauticontrol. I will have pictures up sometime in the next week or two. It was an amazing experience and one that I can't wait to share with our team! 2010 has so much to offer us! Pictures and story to come soon!
It is late and I am heading to bed. Jaz is snuggling with daddy and is almost asleep! Night all! Have a great weekend!

Busy Preschool Week!

Wow.....what a couple of busy weeks we have had around here! Jazmyn is absolutely loving preschool. Two weeks ago she had a very FULL week at preschool! Monday was Jazmyn's sharing day. She chose to bring her Froggies that my friend Leslie got her for her birthday....which are named Ryan and Bryan. She had a great time telling her classmates all about them and getting to feed them while they were there. Here they are on the table as Jazmyn shares (they are in a tiny square glass maintenance free habitat). On Wednesday she had a visit from some local fireman. They came and showed the class what to do in case of a fire and also taught them to not be fearful of a fireman coming to help them. It was quite fun, as one of the firemen has a son in Jaz's preschool and both his mom and dad were classmates of mine in high school. I was very pleased with this day. Hopefully we will never need to use the "tools" we learned this day but just in case I am glad Jazmyn will have a head's up! I can totally see how a child could be fearful of a fireman with all of his gear on. Ryan, the fireman here, looked 3 times his actual size and was quite "scary" if you were a youngster!

On Friday, Jazmyn had a very special day with Papa! It was grandparents day at preschool! Papa came up and spent the afternoon with Jazzy singing songs, eating snacks, and hearing all about why grandparents are so special!!! Jazmyn also wore a very special pearl necklace for this special day that once belonged to her Granny! I am very impressed with Jazmyn's love for her family and wanting to learn more about those parts of her family that she has never even met before. She knows so much about her Granny (Papa's mom) and talks about her quite often even though she passed away years ago. What a sweet little girl!

On Sunday, we had our very first Preschool Sunday of the Year! This is where all of the Preschool classes get together to sing praises on Sunday morning for Jesus and their families! It is always a special day.....and guess what...JAZMYN SMILED AND SANG THIS TIME!!! She really sang loud and beautifully! We are still working on the hand motions however....but baby steps!! Here she is at church...she is in the back row wearing teal and white stripes! Jazmyn's best friend this year is the little boy that is two kids to her left. They did a fantastic job!

As many of you know, Jazmyn had tubes in this past week and did wonderfully. She was smiling all the way out of the hospital and all the way home. Her ears finally feel great and we have a hopeful future of NO MORE surgeries ahead of us!!

Halloweeen pictures to follow....next week! Have an amazing week!!

Spa Night for our Family!

For the past several months, Jazmyn has been SPA'ing me with hopes of spaing the entire family soon! Tonight was that special night at our house as Jeovany and I were spa'ed by our little princess! It was quite a fun first! It started with Jazmyn "pampering" mommy from head to toe, including foot massage, warm socks, arm and hand massages, head tingler massage, warm neck wrap, and lots of love!

Then it was mommy's turn to return the favor! Jazmyn had the complete head to toe treatment also! She loved every second of it, as any woman would...lol! How cute is this picture!!!!
I LOVE IT!!!! Check out those eye pads!!..... I was afraid our Beauticontrol Nourishing Eye pads would irritate Jazmyn's eyes so I used Viva Paper towels...that I cut into circles and saturated with water....shhhh... mumz the word....she had NO idea!!!

We are all overcoming flu this past week so I thought it would be a great idea for mommy to enjoy her faithful never failing "Detox" mask. However, tonight EVERYONE wanted to detox!!! So DETOX we did!!!! It is such a gentle but hard working mask that it was even fantastic for Jazmyn's sensitive skin! What a great testimony for BC!!!! Jazmyn enjoyed "painting" all of our faces up and then of course posing for the camera as a family! What an awesome night we had! Thanks Jazmyn!! Bam-ma and Papa....by the way....YOU are next!

This month end marks a very special time in our BC business. Mom and I are once again eager to advance in our business world! NOVEMBER 1st Mama goes into 6 months of what is called the MUSTANG leadership program. Basically this means....in 6 months with some hard work, a "stop at NOTHING" mentality, sincere determination, a willing heart, an unbelievable team, and an ever Faithful Jesus...MAMA (and I) will be driving a brand new 2010 MUSTANG free and clear no strings attached!!!!! WOOHOOO!!!! Also on the same date...I will promote up as a unit DIRECTOR on my way to earning my team's MUSTANG and many other honors!

Mom and Dad are leaving in a few short weeks for Hawaii (another earned BC Complimentary trip) for a week! They are looking forward to the time of their lives! 6 months....and Jeovany, Jazmyn and I will be off to DISNEY WORLD!!!!!! Wow, what an awesome j.o.b. we have!

Have a fabulous weekend! Remember to take some time to PAMPER YOU and YOUR FAMILY! You all deserve it!

Next post (to follow this week sometime) Jazmyn's busy week at preschool....Grandparents Day with Papa, Singing for Preschool Sunday, and a Visit from a local fireman! Stay tuned......
