New song learned at Preschool!

Jazmyn's second day of preschool went GREAT!!!! She absolutley loves it. Mrs. Lucy told me today that Jaz was a very helpfull little girl today and was a good freind to everyone. She learned a new song today at preschool. It is called "Wide-Mouth Bullfrog" and she LOVES it!! She has been singing it alllllll evening! I thought I would let you in on the last part of it. Words so you can sing along....lol:

"I am a wide mouth bullfrog.....and I eat...bugs......What do you eat? ....... I.....EAT.....WIDE......MOUTH......BULL......FROGS!!!!! Grrrrrrrr..."

First day of Preschool

Well Jazmyn's first day of preschool has come and gone with much excitement still left in the air! This first picture is on the way to school. Daddy and I both took her and she was so excited!

When we actually got to school she was a little apprehensive and didn't want to go to her class. We walked with her and her other classmates down the hall to her room and with a little prodding she went in and we smoothly left! This picture is of her when we first got to school before it was time for class.
She of course had a great time her first day. She said her favorite part was getting to go outside and swing! She had to pick an animal to place on her cubby and on her snack place mat and she proudly picked a MONKEY! (Daddy calls her his little monkey!) When it was time to go for the day she was all smiles and told everyone she wanted to come EVERYDAY! I am so glad that it went so well. The next picture is of her coming out of class. The lady behind her (can't see her face) in the white is her teacher Mrs. Lucy.
I am posting this post as Jazmyn is currently at her second day of preschool. It was quite a feat to get her there. She was all excited and ready to go but mommy had 3 babies (the oldest is only 8 months) to take with us today so it took a little more planning and a little more time....lol. She went in and didn't hesitate to go to her class this time!! I can't wait to hear how her day went!

This next picture is of our NEW VAN!!!! WOW !!!! FINALLY!!!! It is a 2003 Chrysler Town and Country. It has only had one owner prior to us and is in VERy good condition. It is so pretty. Jazmyn (as are the rest of us) is so happy to have a van again!!!

This is an older video, but I wanted everyone to see how silly my Jazmyn is. Mom and I were coming home with Jazmyn from one of our many Dr appt. trips to Children's Mercy and Jazmyn decided she was going to sing the ENTIRE way home! She loves to sing just like her daddy! I found out after we recorded this and showed it to her Papa that he is the one who taught her this silly song! Go figure! LOL! I hope you enjoy it like we did. If you listen real close towards the end you can hear Bam-ma and Mommy laughing hysterically.

My little sparkler

Jazmyn is quite the funny girl. She enjoys picking out her own clothes and getting her self dressed on most days. I am a little more picky on days where she is going somewhere outside of the house! LOL! I am already imagining the many hours we are going to spend trying to find something in her overflowing closet for her to wear to preschool! Preschool stars tomorrow! She is so picky about clothes and shoes. They have to be so comfortable and fit EXACTLY how she wants them to or you might as well just pass them down to little miss Hopie because Jazmyn WILL not ever wear them. On this day, she had on a swimsuit (which she would wear everyday if I let her), and then she added a sundress (of which she wants to wear a DRESS everyday as well! I hated wearing dresses but she absolutely loves them because they are loose fitting and comfortable!) Then she added to final touch...the glasses and head band! She is such a sweetie! She gets her "pickiness" about clothes from her Uncle Chad. I guess he was the same way when he was her age! Thanks CHAD!!!! SHE IS A LOT LIKE YOU (in so many ways)!!!!!

First day of school

The summer is over and school is back in session.

Anna actually went to school last week for "Kindergarten Week'. She didn't get any of the first day jitters at all. She loved every second of it and is all smiles about school. Elizabeth enjoys going to school. She likes to learn new things and loves the socializing part. Jonathan is excited to have something to do and to go see some old friends but I think he'd still rather be hanging out at home. The oldest girl in these pictures in Brittany. She is their older sister though not one of my step children. She is a very good big sister to them all.
Jonathan, being the gentleman that he is....."Girls first"....They are off to school for yet another year!

Pre-school open house

I am a little behind on posting blogs....I have 3 that I am posting today. So enjoy the reading. Love you all!

Oh My goodness, Jazmyn is starting preschool this coming week! I still cant believe she is four and now she is going to school. WOW. How times flies. We went this past Sunday to her open house at Preschool. I am really looking forward to her starting school. She is so excited about it all though a little apprehensive about me leaving the first day. She told me she just wants me stay in the car. Hmmmm.

She will be going Mon, Wed, and Fri from 12:30 to 3. Since her birthday is just after Aug. 1st she will actually have 2 years at this preschool. Next year she will go 5 days a week though. I will keep her posted as to how her first day goes this coming MONDAY ! I think she will love it!
My youngest step daughter, Anna started kindergarten this year and is having a great time at school. I knew she wouldnt get the first day jitters. She has been looking forward to finally getting to go to school. Elizabeth and Jonathan both start back tomorrow. Ellie is excited but I'm not so sure about Jonathan. I think he has too much fun on summer vacation.

Many of you know my sister, Theresa. Her youngest, Hope ,also started K this year and is doing great. She has been a very big girl especially considering that she has never been to PreK. I can only imagine what some of the notes home about HOPE will say as she is such a little firecracker and jokester. They are going to love her in school. Destiny and Faith also have already started and as always Destiny is loving school and her new teacher this year. Miss Faith is ofcourse just there to socialize.

Jazmyn turns FOUR ! ! !

There were balloons everywhere and lots of smiling faces! It was a great fourth birthday party for little Miss Jazmyn! I still can't believe however that my baby is FOUR! She is growing up fast. Lezlie, enjoy and savor every minute of MAYA's first birthday party coming up because it goes by so fast!! Before you know it, we'll be celebrating Marilyn's fourth birthday! AAHHHH! :)

These balloons were by special order all the way from VIETNAM! Yep, that's right , these were from her Aunt Linh and Uncle Chad for Jazmyn's special day. There were about 10 Happy Birthday balloons all over and then there were the ones seen here as well. She loved the fact that her Aunt and Uncle sent them for her! Thanks for remembering her!

And here she is wearing her HANNAH MONTANA gear! How can a 3...well 4 year old already know about all this girly stuff? I've never even watched Hannah Montana and I'm not sure Jaz has but she already knows that she loves her!????? One of my daycare babies brought her this.
Bam-ma and Papa were ofcourse there for the party. They brought her all kinds of things that she loved. She now has an Easy Bake Oven, which was appropriate for Grandma to get her seeing as they bake all the time together.
She has been using her new digital camara like crazy! She loves taking pictures about as much as mommy does. Its a good thing that they make digitals now for kids because I think I deleted about 75 pictures the first day of the ceiling, the floor, and so many other odd looking objects. I will have to post some pictures that she takes in the future!~
Her favorite gift.....her new art desk! This has even out ranked the new babies that she got. Trust me, that takes a lot to surpass them. This desk has been a great thing. Saturday morning I even got to sleep in because Jazmyn got up and worked at her new desk for hours before waking anyone! Thanks so much BAM-MA and PAPA!
