Newest Song from Pre-school

Hello everyone! How are you doing today? I have talked to quite a few of you over the past week and I have been so thrilled to hear you ask about things that you read about in my blog. I have often wondered how many people are reading this and I am starting to see that more are reading it than I thought, SO THANK YOU.....and I do hope you enjoy it! Post comments anytime on here too!

This is yet another song that Jazmyn has learned in preschool. By the way, she absolutely LOVES school everyday and is NOT at all hesitant of going. She is writing her name very well now and singing more than ever before. The newest song that I have plastered in my head thanks to my sweetheart is "Green Speckled Frog."

Enjoy!

Here are the words so you can get it stuck in your heads too....SMILE!

("Three green and speckled frogs sit on a speckled log eating some most delicious bugs..GLUB GLUB! One jumped into the pool, where it was nice and cool, now there are only 2 green speckled frogs, eating some most delicious bugs...GLUB GLUB"..and on and on and on)

I also wanted to let everyone know how Jazmyn was doing with her eyes. We went to our monthly Children's Mercy Dr. appt. today and everything was PERFECT! Her vision in the stronger eye was 20/20 and 20/25 in the weaker eye. Her dr was very pleased with this and we are even going to be patching one hour less daily. Jazzy cooperated so well with her exam today. She's such a big girl (of course it could be that she knows exactly what to do now seeing as we go about every 4-6 weeks!) BUT guess what?....We don't go back for 4 MONTHS!!! That's definitely a record for us! YEHA!!!!

Everything else is going great here at the Marimon house. Ellie, Jon, and Anna are really doing good in school. Ellie loves everything about it. Jon and Anna have had a little trouble with the whole paying attention thing but grades are wonderful and no major complaints yet out of them!

Hope you all have a fabulous weekend! Check back next week!

Build-a-Bear Birthday Bash!

We finally made it to Build-a-Bear!!! The kids have been asking to go for quite some time and we just hadn't made it yet. But we did plan all year to take them for the girl's birthdays since they all fall within 3 weeks of each other! They all had a blast. I think it took us about an hour just to pick out which ones we wanted to stuff! There is so much to choose from and the clothes....OH MY! What a pretty profit that franchise is making just on the panties alone! But I guess it's one of those things every kid has to do at least once. Here we are BEFORE the stuffing took place. 3 bears and a puppy.
Here is Jazzy putting her foot on the pedal to fill her "Hannah Montana" teddy bear up. This wasn't my first choice (or even 2nd, 3rd, or 4th choice...lol) but they were all told that THEY got to pick the one they wanted to make.... so......thus it is.
And...here we are! All stuffed and cutely dressed. Jazmyn's is named "Smiley" and all of you Hannah/Miley Cyrus fans will know why and she sings a "Happy Birthday" song. Anna's "Cutie Pie" says "I love you" and is wearing a Halloween kitty costume. Elizabeth's is a pink and white bear wearing cool shades and is appropriately named, "Cuddles". Jonathan's, named "Jack Isaac" (after a past pet) is a puppy although it roars like a LION and is wearing none other but a Karate uniform proudly displaying his brown belt! They are pretty happy with their new friends!
After we went to the mall we met up with some friends of ours from when we lived "up that way". We went to O'Charley's and had a nice meal together. Jonathan is even getting to spend the night with his Karate buddy, Wyatt. They have so much fun together and really miss getting to see each other at school and karate. The day was a fun-filled day and one that will not be soon forgotten.

Mini vacation in Branson

Taken at The Landing in Branson:
Left to Right: My mom, my Aunt Elaine from Massachusetts,
my Dad, and My Aunt Carol and Uncle Conrad from North Carolina.
This past Sunday and Monday we went to Branson in order to visit with two of my Aunt's that were flying in from the East coast. I had not seen them since 2005 and I was not going to pass up getting to see them and so close to home. These are two of my dad's sisters. My parents are spending the entire week in Branson with them. Jazmyn was really looking forward to getting to see them as she has only seen them once in Carolina when she was 11 months old (and needless to say did not remember that visit to well). This visit will be one that she will NEVER forget! We had a great time.

Jazmyn even ended up coming home with yet another BABY!!! Boy, does she REALLY love her aunt's this trip! She had their full attention and loved every second of it!
Aunt Carol, Jazmyn and Aunt Elaine
Papa with Uncle Conrad and the SPA tingler! "Hey, that tickles!"
We even found some time for a SPA! It was a lot of fun getting to spa my aunts....and guess what!!??.....They are now our two newest Beauticontrol team members!!! I'm so excited for them!!!
*** Thanks for a great time with you in Branson....we can't wait until we can get to the East Coast to see you again! Have a fun rest of the week! ***

The "World's Fair"

We had such a great time at our local fair! It is one of my favorite times of year because EVERYONE comes home for the fair! I love getting to visit with all of my friends from school, some of which I haven't seen since last years fair. Jazmyn had a great time at the fair. The last two years she has went on rides with my friend Jodi's little girl, Madison. However, this year Madi didn't make it to the fair but we FORTUNATELY found another "best friend" for Jazzy....Michelle's little girl, Leila. Jazmyn is only about 2 weeks older than Leila and they really got along great. They had a wonderful time together riding rides! Jazmyn's favorite thing was the big slide. I think she went down it every which way possible!

They even had their hair done up in the same style.

Leslie and Marilyn
Bam-ma took her to the state fair to see the horse shows. I think we had about 100 pictures just from this day! Good thing her camara is digital.
Her sissies....Anna and Ellie.

New song learned at Preschool!

Jazmyn's second day of preschool went GREAT!!!! She absolutley loves it. Mrs. Lucy told me today that Jaz was a very helpfull little girl today and was a good freind to everyone. She learned a new song today at preschool. It is called "Wide-Mouth Bullfrog" and she LOVES it!! She has been singing it alllllll evening! I thought I would let you in on the last part of it. Words so you can sing along....lol:

"I am a wide mouth bullfrog.....and I eat...bugs......What do you eat? ....... I.....EAT.....WIDE......MOUTH......BULL......FROGS!!!!! Grrrrrrrr..."

ENJOY!

The new post below is about her first day at preschool.

First day of Preschool

Well Jazmyn's first day of preschool has come and gone with much excitement still left in the air! This first picture is on the way to school. Daddy and I both took her and she was so excited!
When we actually got to school she was a little apprehensive and didn't want to go to her class. We walked with her and her other classmates down the hall to her room and with a little prodding she went in and we smoothly left! This picture is of her when we first got to school before it was time for class.
She of course had a great time her first day. She said her favorite part was getting to go outside and swing! She had to pick an animal to place on her cubby and on her snack place mat and she proudly picked a MONKEY! (Daddy calls her his little monkey!) When it was time to go for the day she was all smiles and told everyone she wanted to come EVERYDAY! I am so glad that it went so well. The next picture is of her coming out of class. The lady behind her (can't see her face) in the white is her teacher Mrs. Lucy.
I am posting this post as Jazmyn is currently at her second day of preschool. It was quite a feat to get her there. She was all excited and ready to go but mommy had 3 babies (the oldest is only 8 months) to take with us today so it took a little more planning and a little more time....lol. She went in and didn't hesitate to go to her class this time!! I can't wait to hear how her day went!

This next picture is of our NEW VAN!!!! WOW !!!! FINALLY!!!! It is a 2003 Chrysler Town and Country. It has only had one owner prior to us and is in VERy good condition. It is so pretty. Jazmyn (as are the rest of us) is so happy to have a van again!!!
