Jazmyn's "graduation"...

What a fun Sunday we had! We went to church and had a wonderful time (daddy actually stayed home to cook us lunch because we had to go straight from church to eat a real quick lunch and then to graduation). Yes, I said...GRADUATION. Jazmyn actually has another year of preschool because her birthday is Aug 14th, 2 weeks after the cut off for Kindergarten. She loved preschool this year and really made some good friends. She had practiced so hard all week long with new songs so we left it up to her if she wanted to participate in the ceremony this year. Jazzy really wanted to sing with her friends and for her "Bubby and Sissies", so here we are.
Jazmyn will graduate again next year and then again in Kindergarten, I wonder what she's going to think in 1st grade when she doesn't get to officially "graduate" then too?!!! HMMMMM?

We had a great time with Jon, Anna, and Ellie this weekend. School is almost out for them and we are looking forward to getting to see them more this summer. We really miss them when they aren't around!
Below is Jazmyn's entire class on their last day of school. It was a fun day!

For some reason my pictures taken inside the church sanctuary are always so dark! She is in the back row and is second from the left in this photo. She did a fantastic job singing, and I even caught her doing a few of the hand motions this time....just once....to her favorite song of the year! It is always so much fun to watch them sing.

Playing with Friends...

We have made several trips to "play" with friends this past month. It is so much fun to visit everyone and stay connected. Here is Leslie and Marilyn. She is quite the Mama's girl as you can see . In the picture where Leslie is holding her, I had been holding Marilyn and she cried as soon as I got her. Then as soon as mommy got her she stopped immediately and just snuggled! She is such a sweetie!! Look at her giving "kisses"! Gotta love them baby kisses!!!

Jazmyn had a lot of fun playing with Marilyn. She stayed with them for the entire day so by the time I got there they were great friends. Marilyn would even go to Jazmyn with no crying. What a gorgeous smile she has!!! ...and she laughs at everything!!

This is Tacy's little one, Evan Wade! He is a sweet little boy. Jazmyn had so much fun getting to hold him and love on him.
She certainly loves her babies! Now that I am no longer babysitting she has to get her "baby fix" when we go to visit friends!! She sat and held Evan for a long time this day. Even when he started to fuss she would work with him and get him back to sleep.

A few weeks ago, Michelle was home from Florida with her two little ones. Jazmyn and Leila are only about 2 weeks apart in age and always have so much fun together. They played at the park one day for about 3 hours and then they also played at Michelle's mom's house together one day. They really seem to get along very well.
Lots of Hugs!!!
I love having our play dates now that I am not babysitting full time! I miss "my" babies but it is so great to be able to set my own hours and make sure that Jazzy gets to play with her friends on occasion!
Just a quick update: I am feeling wonderful. No headaches for the past 5 weeks. I can move my neck completely once again. I am continuing to lose weight which has continued to make me feel even better. My incision bothers me on occasion with the rainy weather, but its so minor compared to how I was feeling!

Jazmyn is doing wonderful. Her last day of Preschool is today. I am not sure what we will do all summer to keep her entertained. She is already missing school and the summer isn't even officially here quite yet. I keep telling her...in just 3 months you get to go back, but the whole "month" thing is somewhat of a non-existing time to her. It's just too long! We'll keep you posted on all the fun things we do this summer. Looking forward to spending more time with my step kids. Our summer's are always fun with them around!!

Memories...

I hope all of the mother's that read this had a FABULOUS Mother's Day!! I had a great day with Jeovany and Jazmyn and family.
We have really been enjoying the warmer weather lately, and have made many trips to the Park already this week! I had to put a quick snapshot of Jazzy on the Elephant slide. I can remember playing on this slide when I was a kid. I vividly remember one field trip (3rd or 4th grade?) to this particular park. I have several pictures of Leslie, Lezlie, Jodi, Mary, and I on this slide!!! What fun memories we have together!

We had a great time at the Park!!!
The slide was recently re-painted, so it looks so nice once again! Have a great rest of the week!

Collage of our Journey!!!

This was so much fun to create and even more fun to present to mom on her first day being a NEW DIRECTOR!! Click on the pictures and you can enlarge them and really see the shadow box well. It represents our journey over the past year with Beauticontrol!! It has been such a fun journey and to think it's only just beginning!!!! I can't wait to see what this year holds.

Annie pointing out all of the details of the box. It is filled with tons of little decor and wordings that were put together with lots of love!
Lots of pictures from our twice annual trips to Dallas for Leadership and Celebration! It also has items from mom's "DREAM BAG" towards the bottom.

DIRECTORSHIP ! ! !

This has been a very special memorable month for us!! We have completed months 1-6 of mom's Director In Qualification period and MOM is now a Beauticontrol DIRECTOR!!!! We never imagined this in our future and we are still stumped at times at how this has all happened. We have the most amazing team of family and friends supporting us and we are so grateful to have a business that has truly changed our lives!! The Beauticontrol opportunity is second to NONE!! I wanted to share some pictures with you from mom's surprise party tonight. It was so much fun!! Next month, mom will be featured in the Achiever magazine. She will have a special place for a quote and her picture. I wanted to share with you the quote she has written and a few pictures from her special night!!
"Wow! What a ride! God has truly blessed us with so many great friends, supportive family, and "Sista Diva's". To my team--you're Amazing! Without you, this could not have been possible. Together we have achieved goals that we never dreamed possible! To Annie-your spark and enthusiasm is truly inspirational. Your Faith in me and our Faith in the Lord carried us through! To Charla-Thanks for the zebra experience in KC and your dedication to our team. To Kim--my daughter and spa'ing sidekick, my husband Jim and son-in-law Jeovany-All my love and thanks for being a part of this team from day one. Watch out BeautiControl--our journey has just begun!"

This picture will be in the achiever in JUNE. I took this today at my house!!! She looks great huh!!! The pink dogwood tree is symbolic for her upcoming earned HAWAII trip that her and dad will be enjoying together totally on Beauticontrol !!!
We had a great time tonight together with friends!

Mom--our NEW DIRECTOR, Annie--my best friend and OUR NEW SR. DIRECTOR, and me.
Below: MAMA and ANNIE--It was a very emotional night as you can see! Annie has promoted mom, which was a bitter sweet experience. Annie has mentored us and brought us up and now we have branched off as our own Director Unit. We still go to our "MAMA ANNIE" for many many things, but we can stand alone some now as well.
The ZEBRA!!!! We are ZEBRA'S!!!! Did you know that when their is a forest fire all of the animals will turn and run away from the fire to try to save themselves only to be swallowed up and engulfed in flames eventually as the fire chases them. HOWEVER, the Courageous Zebra is the only animal that when they see a fire they immediately run straight into the flames knowing that safety is just on the other side of that fire. They survive because they face the flames head on!!! May we all learn to put on our ZEBRA GEAR and embrace life full force ahead!!
Have a phenomenal week! Remember to take care of yourself, take a few minutes everyday to pamper yourself and always enjoy the moment. You only live once, Make the most of it!! You deserve it!!!

Jazmyn's week at preschool!

It has been a fun-filled week for Jazmyn at preschool!!! Here are a few pictures to show you what her week was like. I will not be writing much on this post, but will update with more info in my next post later this week!!

Here are some family snapshots from after church this morning. Jazmyn had preschool Sunday today and so her and her other classmates got to sing for everyone. This time she sang perfectly...I could even hear her where I was sitting. She still wasn't sure about doing the hand motions that she has done for weeks at home with these songs. When I asked her at home, "Jazmyn, you sang so lovely and I loved the hand motions, did you NOT want to do them today?"....and her response was, " I did do them with my hands in my pockets!" Truthfully, she did. The dress she wore had 2 pockets in the front and her hands were there most of the time, and luckily the dress was a very full dress because she certainly was moving her hands an awful lot. At one point, I caught her doing one hand motion (without her hands in her pockets) and she immediately looked at me and you could tell she was embarrassed already. She did fabulous though and it was a joy to get to see her sing!!!!

I love this picture of Jazmyn and daddy! They look so sweet together with his pink tie on!

The following pictures are of Jazmyn singing in church and also of her field trip this past week. Her field trip was to a local art museum. Jeovany and I both were able to go along with her and so her "best friend" also got to ride along with us. All of the kids had a great time and we left the museum with nothing getting broken and no alarms going off. It was a fun trip!

She has a great group of classmates!

I had a feeling the hand dipped tye-dyed dress would be appropriate for an art gallery trip!! It turned out, she matched one of the pieces perfectly!

This last piece with her class sitting around it was titled, "The Joy of Learning" and I hope that Jazmyn continues to love to learn just like she does right now. She is always eager for more!

Have a great week and remember to count your blessings daily!! Take care and God Bless!

Coloring and Hunting Eggs...

Here we are at Grandma's house last week coloring our Easter eggs! Jazmyn had a great time doing them this year. However, I think our fingers had just as much dye on them as the eggs did by the time we were finished! But it was sure fun!
Stickers....Stickers.....Stickers! ! !

I think she did a pretty good job, what do you think?
.......and of course the Easter bunny did come Easter morning while we were in church. He hid them quite well. She had a great time hunting them.
The end results....a basket full!! Egg salad?....Devilled eggs?.....hmmmmmm......
The following blog is of Easter morning as well. Enjoy! Hope you had a fabulous Easter this year!
